IDAHO WEST MAGIC LAKE RECREATION CLUB

“THE DAM FOOLS”

Our Mission

The Idaho West Magic Lake Recreation Club, founded in 1978, embarked on a common goal of community involvement and service. Our goal is to enjoy the companionship of our members, neighbors and friends.

About Us

We are a Non-Profit 501-C3 Club supporting local charities. There are approximately 200 members. The Veterans were the founding members of this Clubhouse in 1978. We are located at the West Side of Magic Reservoir, 10 miles west of Highway 75.

We hold many fundraisers per year. The Main Events are, Dam Fools Ice Fishing Derby, Memorial Day Event, 4th of July Event and Labor Day Event. These Events fund our local charities and Building Maintenance. We receive items for raffle/auctions from local vendors.

We play Bingo, have card games and Shoot Pool, we do winter sports as well as ATV rides and Horseshoe tournaments in the summers. All our work/help is volunteer based. Come by and join our fun & activities @ the West Magic Lake Rec. Clubhouse.

Help us help others.

Life was meant for good friends and great adventures

Some of our endeavors have included supporting the local food banks, such as Blaine County, Lincoln County and Camas County. Also, the Highway Clean up and the 10 mile road into West Magic, coats for the Salvation Army, and Toys for Tots.

Our Future

As an origination we inspire to increase our membership base to
achieve optimism, happiness and a sense of well-being within our
community.
